Riley Beres was born in Suffolk, England, to Shelly (Williams), a homemaker, and Christopher Beres a Lt. Colonel of the United States Air Force. She is of mixed European descent: Italian-Slovak (from her paternal grandparents, father-side), and Welsh-Cherokee descent (from her paternal grandparents, mother-side). Riley began her acting career at the age of 13, when her father retired from the military and Los Angeles officially became her permanent home. She has been involved in theater, short films, stand-up comedy, improvisation/sketch comedy, web-series development and most recently self-directing and producing films.
Her recent films included, "Hope For Our Own: An LA Story," (age 15-16), winner of "Best Short Documentary," DIY Film Festival, 2015 and "A Sockumentary," official selection of the 2nd Annual White House Film Festival, 2015 (top 1% of films submitted) to be screened at the White House with President Obama.
When not pursuing a professional acting and filmmaking career, Riley can be found running her non-profit Socks for Souls, Inc.
