A graduate of France’s National Academy of Dramatic Arts, Poesy moved to the U.K. and broke through in English-language TV as Mary, Queen of Scots in 2004 BBC hit miniseries “Gunpowder, Treason & Plot.”
The 31-year-old actress just made her French TV debut in bilingual thriller “The Tunnel
,” co-produced by Canal Plus/Sky Atlantic. “It was quite a challenge to stay in my character through 10 episodes while being directed by five different filmmakers,” she says.
Poesy, whose father, Etienne Guichard, is a stage director, made her Broadway debut
