Steve Vil was born in Garfield, NJ. His first interest was in
music and he performed in the bands Trap Door and Signal To Noise
(whose song, "Drugs And Candy" appears in the soundtrack of the film
"Grace And The Storm") before
forming Powervalve in 2008. On a whim, he auditioned for a role in the
horror/comedy film "The Pizza Man" and won the part of food critic
Stanley Goodchow. After original film composer Ryan "Zero" Corrigan
dropped out, Vil was asked to finish scoring the movie and his band
Powervalve contributed most of the soundtrack. Vil has also authored
the children's book, "Arvid And Hornschwatz Go Skunk Scoffing".
