‘Parental Guidance’ Trailer – Billy Crystal and Bette Midler’s Adventures In Grandparenting

7 September 2012 10:27 AM, PDT | The Film Stage | See recent The Film Stage news »

In an elder take on Adventures in Babysitting, comedic talents Billy Crystal and Bette Midler have teamed for Parental Guidance. Aside from an odd foreign film and a uncredited cameo in Tooth Fairy, this will mark the former star’s first feature film appearance in the flesh in over a decade. We’ve got the first trailer for the family comedy today, which is directed by Race to Witch Mountain and The Game Plan director Andy Fickman.

The jokes are a bit obvious, but it’s nice to have Crystal back up on the big screen, as he looks to be having a good time. For those not wanting to see Django Unchained (who are you?!), this could be passable counter-programming. Check out the trailer below for the film also starring Marisa Tomei, Bailee Madison, Mavrick Moreno, Madison Lintz, Joshua Rush and Kyle Harrison Breitkopf.
