DeMarco Murray
Early in the 2016 offseason, the Titans acquired running back
DeMarco Murray in a trade with the Philadelphia Eagles. The 6-foot-1-
inch, 220-pounder brings stability and veteran leadership to the Titans'
running back corps. A three-time Pro Bowler, Murray is known for his
physical, downhill running style, but he is also a skilled pass catcher
out of the backfield. He started all 16 games at running back in his first
season with the Titans, and led the AFC and ranked third in the NFL with
1,287 rushing yards. The University of Oklahoma product enjoyed a stellar
2014, capturing the NFL's rushing title and earning NFL Offensive Player
of the Year honors. A former third-round draft choice of Dallas in 2011,
Murray spent his first four seasons with the Cowboys before joining the
Philadelphia Eagles for the 2015 campaign.
