Executive producer Lyle Albers and director Letia Clouston released the names today of the main cast who will play the six friends in slasher film "The 6th Friend": Dominique Swain ("Alpha Dog", "Lolita"), Jessica Morris ("Reel Evil", "One Life To Live"), Jamie Bernadette ("The Bunnyman Massacre", "Milf"), Chantelle Albers ("Axeman At Cutter's Creek", "Moo Moo And The Three Witches"), Sadie Katz ("Chavez Cage Of Glory", "House Of Bad"), and Theresa June-Tao ("Battle Of Los Angeles", "Mile Marker Seven"). Executive producer Lyle Albers and director Letia Clouston have found their cast for the upcoming indie slasher film The 6th Friend.

Dominique Swain, Jessica Morris, Jamie Bernadette, Chantelle Albers, Sadie Katz and Theresa June-Tao are set to star.

The film is set against the backdrop of a booze-and-pot-drenched college graduation party.

The stoner of the pack of six best friends orders in something special from her dealer, who sticks around, joins the party, and zeroes in for a score.

We've been talking about the upcoming Eighties inspired slasher flick The Axeman at Cutter's Creek for a long time now and finally the little bloody flick that could has nailed itself some distribution. Read on for details.

Acort International, one of the top distributors of independent films in the global marketplace, has recently acquired horror/slasher film “Axeman at Cutter’s Creek” for world-wide distribution. Distribution plans are currently in consideration which will include a North American DVD on the indie-horror label Midnight Releasing and cable/satellite/internet VOD run as well as being showcased at this year’s 2013 American Film Market.

Exclusive: Writer/Actress Jamie Bernadette Talks The 6th Friend

Warning: When combined, women, narcotics, epic partying and an uninvited sixth friend may result in serious bodily harm, dismemberation and/or death. Proceed cautiously.

Written by star Jamie Bernadette (pictured; Axeman at Cutter’s Creek), the independent feature flick and party parable The 6th Friend begins casting next month, according to Bernadette, who will also produce alongside co-star Chantelle Albers. Letia Clouston will direct, with a release slated for 2014.

“I wanted to write a story with an all-female principal cast, who were intelligent and strong and who possess a determination to not allow themselves to be oppressed,” Bernadette told us of her inspiration for the script for The 6th Friend. “I intended to create intricate relationships,” she continued, “between complex characters in the midst of a story of real terror and bloodshed.”

In the fall of last year we ventured into the mountains just outside of Big Bear, California, to the set of then-filming feature Axeman at Cutter’s Creek and while there chatted with many of the flick’s principal players.
