While working as an extra on the set of Transformers 4 in Detroit, MI, director Michael Bay and various crew kept mistaking Lee for one of the stunt team members. At one point director Michael Bay asked Lee to jump out of a truck from the drivers seat. Lee agreed and did the take three times. The shot however does not appear in the movie. See full bio »

First Hollywood film audition was for Gran Torino, directed by Clint Eastwood. Lee auditioned for the roles of 'Tao' and 'Smokey.' Eastwood had interest in Lee being either 'Smokey' or one of the gangsters. The roles however went to other Hmong actors. See more »
