- Andrea Rose Arvanigian was born and raised in Portage, MI. Her parents knew early on that she was born to perform, with a perfect impression of Jessica Rabbit at the age of 2 and an early love of singing. She began taking piano lessons from the age of 4 and attended summer camps for drawing and painting. She danced through elementary school and fell upon her first musical in 3rd grade: Santa's Gone Hip. It was after not being cast as Mrs. Claus that little Andrea decided that she would never be in the chorus again. When she hit middle school, she began taking theatre seriously and enrolled in musical theatre summer camps. She performed throughout her middle and high school years in both school and community productions. While in high school, she traveled to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with two separate productions and attended the University of Michigan's All-State Musical Theatre program at Interlochen Center For the Arts. After graduation, Andrea attended Western Michigan University and obtained her BFA in Music Theatre Performance. While there, she realized her passion and talent specifically for acting. She had always primarily been a singer, but was cast in few musicals during her college career as she was being cast in lead roles in straight plays instead. While at WMU, Andrea traveled to Canturbury, England with the cast of Seven Passages: The Stories of Gay Christians to perform for Anglican Bishops at the Lambeth Conference. Her college career went out with a bang as she starred as Maria in West Side Story, selling out every performance. After graduation, she starred in a regional production of Adam Rapp's Red Light Winter and moved to Los Angeles the morning after closing night. She quickly signed with DPM Talent for commercial representation and has had commercial success (will share credits upon request). She has also performed in several theatrical productions around L.A., including readings and two productions with DOMA Theatre Company, which has been featured as a main contributor to the comeback of L.A. 99-seat theatre. She has also recorded some of her own music and been a paid voice on multiple original musical theatre recordings. She's determined, confident, silly and takes full advantage of every opportunity that is presented to her. So give her a chance and hold on for the ride! It's going to be a good one.- IMDb Mini Biography By: Andrea Arvanigian
