The Voice live final
Little surprise that The Voice (BBC1, Saturday) topped the leaderboard this week, but it is notable that it wasn't much bigger on Twitter than last week's Big Brother live launch, with The Voice earning just 37,943 additional tweets. That's for a show with 7.2 million viewers, compared to the Bb launch's 1.99 million. The tweeting pattern followed a steady incline, naturally peaking during the announcement of the winner and staying high for subsequent shock and outrage. But the real highlight was judge will.i.am's commentary. »

Lucy Mecklenburgh and Jessica Wright have been suspended from 'The Only Way Is Essex' after getting involved in a catfight. The pair got embroiled in a heated argument over Lucy's ex-fiancé Mario Falcone at James Argent's home last Wednesday (05.06.13) and things became physical with co-star Jasmin Walia left injured in the vicious confrontation. Things allegedly got so heated a member of the production crew on the ITV2 show decided to step in and break things up. Two stars of The Only Way is Essex have reportedly been suspended from the show.
Jasmin Walia was allegedly injured during the fight while the show was filming on Wednesday (June 5).
"The row was getting out of hand and way beyond the usual handbags that go on on the show," a source claimed.
"A producer decided he had to act and dashed in to break it up."
Producers reportedly decided not to air the row during last night's (June 9) episode on ITV2.
An ITV spokesman said: "While our investigations continue, producers have informed Jessica and Lucy that they will not be filming."
Mecklenburgh recently spoke to Digital Spy about her split from co-star Mario Falcone, saying he did something "worse" than cheating. »
Mecklenburgh split with her co-star after the last Towie series in April following repeated allegations of his infidelity.
Speaking to DS in Marbella during filming of Towie's upcoming special, the couple declared that Falcone has "given [Mecklenburgh] enough s**t" in their relationship that she'd never consider reuniting with him - and would "lose a lot of respect" from her friends if she did.
"Mario would probably want to rub it in," Rayment said. "I think he'd like to come out here and make her jealous."
Wright responded: "Surely that would be harsh though? Like, come on, he's given the girl enough s**t... That would really wind me up if he does do that.
"I've got Lucy's back no matter what. »
The reality TV star announced his departure from the ITV series yesterday (March 21), stating that the show had "changed too much".
He later tweeted a message to his friend Danny Dyer, writing: "I took your advise winkle! Yeah ring me later!"
The actor replied: "About f**king time brother. The worlds your oyster."
Norcross's exit is said to have been triggered by producers' plans to introduce two new male leads to the show, according to The Sun.
A source said: "Bosses brought in two new boys who are younger versions of Kirk. They thought he was friends with them until he refused to film with them.
"He was being so difficult and throwing his toys out of the pram. Then he went Awol.
"They knew he wasn't happy and were trying to resolve it but »
Norcross alerted producers to when he would be "chilling" with his celebrity pals, and said that the pair would be up for appearing on Towie as long as the show doesn't "tarnish what they've built".
Collins though admitted that she wants to sit next to the likes of Duncan Bannatyne and Peter Jones on rival reality show Dragons' Den, confessing that she has a little crush on one of the BBC programme's panellists.
The trio also discussed Collins's "sexual thoughts" about ex-boyfriend James 'Arg' Argent, last year's poorly-received Towie: Live and Norcross being »
