Brad Simpson, who produced the "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" films with Nina Jacobson, is joining Jacobson's production company as a partner, Jacobson said Tuesday. Simpson's appointment at Color Force is effective March 1. Jacobson also promoted Bryan Unkeless from development executive to senior VP production. Los Angeles, February 28, 2012 – Producer Brad Simpson has joined growing production company Color Force as a partner, it was announced today by company principal Nina Jacobson. Producer Brad Simpson had joined Nina Jacobson’s Color Force production company as a partner. Color Force is the banner founded by Jacobson, a former production head of Disney, and is the company behind the upcoming Hunger Games movie. The company has also promoted longtime development executive Bryan Unkeless, who discovered Games and brought it to Jacobson's attention, to the post of senior vice president of production.   Simpson, who served as president of Leonardo DiCaprio’s Appian Way banner before striking on his own as a producer, first worked with Jacobson on Diary of a Wimpy Kid, the hit 2010 movie
