After a failed attempt to negotiate a new agreement with the audiobook recording firm, eAudio, SAG-aftra, the nation’s union for screen actors, has issued a “no work” order against the company. The Astoria-based eAudio had a two-year contract with the union beginning in 2015 when the company was under a different name, Robert Agis Productions. After the deal expired in October of 2017, the union notified the company that a successor agreement would be required. The company refused and confirmed it had no intention of working with union members.
