Deborah Louise Robinson was born Deborah Louise Winter in Darlington, England. Born to working class parents Sandra and James Winter, she had a happy childhood with her parents, twin sister, Samantha, her elder brother, James, and elder sister, Angela.

Deborah married her first love, Lenny Robinson in 1988 and they have three children, Steven, Ella, and Ralph.

Deborah has lived in Yorkshire, England for most of her life, but takes regular trips to Hollywood for both business and pleasure. An avid film buff, Deborah's obsession with film started at a very young age, when she first discovered the magic of the movies, she was thoroughly drawn in to the fantasy world created on the screen, and she is now delighted to be working full time in an industry she loves.

Following a successful career in senior management, Deborah spent some time as a freelance film critic before moving on to screenwriting.

Now a member of the WGGB, her first screenplay, 'Garradin - The Stolen World', won a 'best screenplay' award in an industry competition and garnered outstanding industry feedback. A prolific writer, Deborah now has more than a dozen screenplays to her name, with almost half of them already making it into production. To date, Deborah has six of her feature-length screenplays in production in the U.K. as well as in the U.S.

Deborah has formed her own production company with her partner in the U.S. Pamela Glasner. Her company, Starjack Entertainment has several films in development.

Deborah Louise Robinson is an award-winning WGGB screenwriter, film producer, director, and motivational speaker.

Her work as a successful film critic saw Deborah's reviews published internationally in newspapers and magazines including the global action movie magazine, Impact, the UK's national newspaper for the deaf and hard of hearing, The Hearing Times, and Australia's top movie magazine, Film Ink. Additionally, she has written screenplays across all genres, with half of them now in development with production companies in the UK and the US.

A staunch believer in nonconformity, she advocates passionately for everyone's right of expression of individuality, uniqueness, and talent. Deborah is a featured speaker in a national program to inspire and motivate young people in schools and colleges. This program's short film is now a permanent exhibition at Leeds Museum.

An experienced business woman, Deborah now runs her own production company, Starjack Entertainment, with her business partner Pamela S. K. Glasner.

Deborah spearheaded the creation of a brand new annual rock festival, Full Moon Dog Festival, which launches in England on 1st October 2011. The festival honours the memory of Deborah's brother, Asomvel lead singer and bass guitarist, Jay-Jay Winter, and will increase in size each year, ultimately becoming one of the finest rock festivals in Europe.

Last Will and Embezzlement, the feature-length documentary staring Hollywood icon Mickey Rooney, will be Deborah's directorial debut.
