Ishtiaque Zico lives in Dhaka, Bangladesh; The same town in which he was born.

Graduated in mathematics from Dhaka University, Bangladesh.

Left-handed.

He started exploring filmmaking since 2005 by producing shorts, assisting fellow directors, reading movies and studying books - in no particular order.

Recently he directed a one-take short film "720 Degrees" (2010) in 35mm format.
