Go Behind the Scenes of 'Frozen' Broadway Cast's First Major Photo Shoot (Exclusive)
The Rocky Mountains made for the picture perfect background as Vanity Faircaptured the stars of Broadway-bound’s Frozenin their first photo shoot for a media outlet -- and Et has an exclusive look behind the scenes.

On top of Copper Mountain outside of Denver, Colorado, Patti Murin (Anna), Caissie Levy (Elsa) and Jelani Alladin (Kristoff) are dressed in their characters’ famous costumes, designed by Christopher Oram for the stage. Meant to look like the story’s Norway setting, fake snow adds extra detail to images of Elsa wearing a light blue-colored gown and cape posing on what appears to be the top of her ice castle. She waves her arms in a similar manner to how the Disney princess did in the top-grossing animated film of all time. Exclusive: Broadway Star Telly Leung Transforms Into Aladdin
Days before stepping into the title role of Disney’s Aladdin on June 13, Broadway favorite Telly Leung is staying mum on the secrets behind that beloved magic carpet. Mostly because he’s content to remain in the dark himself.

“There’s a part of me that doesn’t want to know,” the actor tells Et of the illusion that finds packed houses at the New Amsterdam Theatre gasping night after night. “I remember seeing the show, and as somebody who’s done plenty of Broadway and knows all the tricks, I had no idea how that worked onstage. Exclusive: Brian d’Arcy James Comes Full Circle as King George III in ‘Hamilton’
“The crown is quite heavy. The cape is quite heavy. I do remember distinctly the first time I went out, not expecting how heavy those two things would be,” Brian d’Arcy James recalls to Et about wearing King George III’s lush costume in the Off-Broadway production of Hamilton. It’s an outfit he will soon don again when he returns to Lin-Manuel Miranda’s hit biopic musical about Alexander Hamilton on Friday, April 14. “I don’t want to say [it will] wreak havoc on you, but if you’re not prepared, it can give you an extra sense of anxiety that you didn’t have before."

While the crown has weighed down some, it’s not an issue for Spotlight actor, who is reprising a role he originated, even though he's playing it for the first time on the Broadway stage. "It's a full-circle moment for me," James exclaims over the phone as he eagerly awaits starting

Exclusive: James Monroe Iglehart Says Goodbye to Genie and ‘Aladdin’ on Broadway
From sequins to 18th-century ruffles, Aladdin’s James Monroe Iglehart is about to embark on another dream: playing the dual roles of Marquis de Lafayette and Thomas Jefferson in Hamilton. On Sunday, Feb. 19, Iglehart will take his final bow as the Genie on Broadway before moving up four blocks from the New Amsterdam Theatre on 42nd Street to the coveted Richard Rodgers Theatre on 46th, where he’ll join the cast of the Alexander Hamilton musical starting mid-April.

While the Genie was famously voiced by Robin Williams in the 1992 animated film, Iglehart has been playing the part since Aladdin’s 2011 out-of- town tryouts in Seattle, which eventually landed in Toronto for a pre-Broadway run in 2013. Night after night, the actor has received roaring applause for his show-stopping rendition of “Friend Like Me,” a number that surely helped him win the 2014 Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Musical.

“It’s the best feeling in the world
