You Me at Six are an English rock band from Surrey. The band consists of 5 members: Josh Franceschi (Lead Vocals), Max Helyer (Guitar), Chris Miller (Guitar), Matt Barnes (Bass) and Dan Flint (Drums). The Band formed in 2004, the group rose to fame in 2008 with the success of their debut album, Take Off Your Colours. Many of their singles reached the charts, such as, "Save it for the bedroom" and "Finders keepers". The band's main influences include American rock bands Blink 182, Incubus & Thrice. At the 2008, 2009 and 2010 Kerrang! Awards, the band were nominated for "Best British Band", but they lost each time to metalcore band Bullet for My Valentine, but their song "Liquid Confidence" won best single at the Kerrang! awards 2010. On January 2010, the band released their second studio album, titled Hold Me Down, which reached number 5 in the UK. The band recently released their new single "Rescue Me", which features American hip hop act Chiddy Bang.
