Luke Addison compares The Walking Dead TV show and comic book series....

Ever since the 1968 release of George A. Romero’s Night of the Living Dead the general public has been obsessed with all things zombie; be it the thinly veiled Romeo and Juliet remake Warm Bodies, or the continuing Resident Evil series, it’s clear that there’s something unnerving by the prospect of the dead coming back to life, and that grips the viewers to their seats in both the better and worse of the zombie films on offer.

The current zombie craze is The Walking Dead. Heard of it? Of course you have. Whether you’re sat watching it on the big TV as it’s televised or illegally downloading it and watching it for free – naughty! – it seems that the majority of people now watch it or at least are privy to hearing about it. The Walking Dead television series is gearing up with the second part of its third season. Episode 9, "The Suicide King," will show February 10th through the AMC. This newest episode already has a promotional reel. The thirty second clip shows the Dixon boys trapped at the Governor's (David Morrissey) camp. The Governor then gears up for an attack on the prison, where several survivors are holed up. But, has Rick (Andrew Lincoln) already seen through the Governor's plan? This reviewer is not generally a nitpicker, but there is one major continuity error in the clip hosted below. The Governor's damaged eye seems to change from left to right. Which eye is actually damaged? Horror fans can look closely at the promo' reel and decide for themselves. Release Date: February 10th, 2013. Director: Lesli Linka Glatter. Writers: Frank Darabont , Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore, Charlie Adlard and Evan T. Reilly. Cast: Norman Reedus, »

Comics: Deadpool Featured In Latest Marvel Now! Teaser

9 January 2013 6:23 AM, PST | ComicBookMovie.com | See recent ComicBookMovie news »

Strangely enough, the promo art above is done by Art Adams but Mike Hawthrone will be taking over art duties for Tony Moore in April. What's even more odd is the fact that the title just debuted in January and Marvel's already announcing a creator change. Marvel Now! was proposed as many things but one key component was to be the fact that the initial creator teams would be sticking on titles for the long haul. So far, we've seen a number of changes announced over the last few days and we're likely to see a few more before weeks end. Hopefully, one of the Mighty Marvel brass will explain what's going on.
