Hulu has released a trailer of sorts for their upcoming sci-fi series Future Man. Executive produced and directed by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg and created by Kyle Hunter and Ariel Shaffir (Sausage Party), the show follows a janitor (Josh Hutcherson) who is recruited to travel through time to save the future, but must do so without screwing up the past. TV News Roundup: ‘Daily Show’s’ Michelle Wolf Lands First Comedy Special

In today’s roundup, “Daily Show” correspondent Michelle Wolf will appear in her first comedy special, while Robert Craighead is joining “Future Man” at Hulu and Caroline Cave is joining “Van Helsing.”

Comedian Michelle Wolf will appear in her first stand-up comedy special later this year. Wolf is currently a writer and on-air contributor for “The Daily Show with Trevor Noah,” and was previously a writing supervisor and performer on “Late Night with Seth Meyers.” Neal Brennan will direct the show, which is taping Aug. 12 at the Skirball Center in New York City and will premiere on HBO.

Netflix released the first trailer for Season 3 of “The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.” In the new season, Kimmy decides to go to college, while Titus worries that his boyfriend Mikey is cheating on him. Meanwhile, Lillian decides to end things with her boyfriend, Robert Durst. Season 3 premieres on Netflix May 19. Watch the trailer below.

How a Fake Seth Rogen Script Fooled Big Time Players in Hollywood

It's certainly not an easy road to success for any aspiring writer in Hollywood, but two young scribes found a way to fool the studios' seemingly-impenetrable "gatekeeper" system, by passing off their work as a script by two famous writers. Last week, a number of creative executives and agents scrambled to read a new script called The Kosher Nostra, which was believed to be written by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, both longtime writing partners, although it was actually written by two unrepresented L.A.-based writers named Jonathan Witz, 25, and Jeremy Spektor, 29. Using Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg's name, along with a fake email for UTA agent Danny Goldstein, the script was sent to Hollywood heavyweights such as Will Ferrell, Netflix's Ted Sarandos, Annapurna Pictures' Megan Ellison along with A-list producers Scott Stuber and Mark Gordon.
