John J. Palomino was born in New Rochelle, NY to April and John J. Palomino Sr. He is a Biracial Actor based on the East Coast (New York and Atlanta). His Mother, African American, born and raised in New York, and Father, born in Colombia, came to the USA when his father (John's Granfather) got recruited to play for a Soccer team in Miami, in the late 1960s. Both of his parents were extremely hard workers, but in 1993, John's father passed away a month before his 6th birthday. This unexpected death was hard for everyone, but to cope with the pain, John played sports and spent time with family. It wasn't until some years later, where he had his first acting experience; He was featured on a United Way Commerical starring former NFL Player Derrick Brooks. Then, in his Junior year in college he decided to take an Actors Workshop as an Elective; it was this moment that acting became a true passion. Since then, John has had the opportunity to work and learn from a talented breed of artists/filmmakers. He's been a featured BG on some of your favorite Television Shows and Movies, has worked on a countless amount of Independent projects, that include the male lead actor of an Award Winning Short Film and has also made a few appearances on Television, including 2 episodes of the popular international crime TV Series, Joe Kenda: Homicide Hunter that airs on I.D. (Investigation Discovery) and a Spike TV Bellator MMA Commercial. Aside from Acting, John has done some writing and directing; He is in post-production for his first short film, titled Man of the House and a documentary, titled Love in Cali, that documents his first experiences in Colombia, when he met his family for the first time.
