Back in 2009, when we first wrote about Spellfury, it was doing pretty well for itself. The first two episodes of the independent fantasy series gained over 450 thousand views on YouTube, and the entire 12-episode first season (which ended in 2010) gained over 700,000 views on YouTube alone. Since then, however, the series has fallen on hard times. After beginning a 12 episode second season, the production team behind Spellfury had to halt production after funds dried up. Now, creator Travis Gordon and lead actress Julie O'Halloran have taken to Indiegogo, where they hope to raise the $24,000 dollars they need to finish up season 2. If you haven't seen Spellfury, it's not too hard to get the basic gist after viewing an episode or two.
