- Rowan Blanchard is an American actress best known for her role as Riley in Girl Meets World (2014) which earned her Young Artist Award nominations. She has since had roles as Jackie Geary on the ABC Sitcom The Goldbergs (2013) and Alexandra Cavill in the TNT Series Snowpiercer (2020). - Rowan comes from a diverse ethnic background. Her paternal grandfather emigrated from the Middle East, and has Lebanese, Moroccan, Armenian and Syrian ancestry. Rowan's paternal grandmother is of Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, and English descent, and Rowan's mother has one fourth Portuguese, as well as German and English, ancestry.
