Cory Monteith’s Death: ‘Glee’ Co-Stars React With ‘Heartbroken’ Tweets

14 July 2013 10:19 AM, PDT | HollywoodLife | See recent HollywoodLife news »

Kristin Chenoweth, Mark Salling and more of Cory’s fellow gleeks took to Twitter shortly after his death.

The entire world was stunned when news broke June 13 that Cory Monteith was found dead in a Vancouver hotel room — but few were as devastated, or more vocal, than the people who worked with Cory, 31, on his hit Fox series.

Glee’ Cast Reacts To Cory’s Death

Mark Salling, who plays the on-screen Bff to Cory’s Finn, tweeted the most knee-jerk response to Cory’s passing — a simple, and heartbreaking, “no” — but he deleted his tweet shortly after.

One of the most intense responses, due largely to her use of capital letters, came from Dot Marie Jones, who plays Coach Shannon Beiste:

I Have No Words! My Heart Is Broken Cory Was Not Only A Hell Of A Friend He Was One Amazing Men That I Will Hold Close To My Heart Forever. »

Will Oxygen cancel 'The Glee Project' before Season 3?

8 April 2013 8:41 PM, PDT | Zap2It - From Inside the Box | See recent Zap2It - From Inside the Box news »

Is cable network Oxygen ready to cancel its reality show, "The Glee Project," after two seasons? While reports indicate that the "Glee" spin-off will not return for Season 3, its network says otherwise.

As first reported by TVLine, sources at Oxygen indicate that there were several factors involved in making the decision not to renew the show. Low ratings and the fact that "Glee" itself has not yet been renewed for a fifth season on Fox are believed to be the main reasons.

A statement from an Oxygen spokesperson, however, indicated that "The Glee Project" -- while not officially safe for another season -- still has a shot: "What TV Line reported was speculation. 'The Glee Project' has not been canceled."

"The Glee Project" -- produced, like "Glee," by Ryan Murphy -- debuted in the summer of 2011. The show brought a group of singing, dancing and acting hopefuls the »
