Oscar Calixto

Has begun his acting career in a city named as Juiz de Fora - MG, where he made many important and significant works. It was there he had the opportunity to make cine for the first time. The movie was "A Fulga" (The Escape) directed by Leo Niecklevicz. Since then Oscar Calixto has plunged into the theater and film making. He has acted in more than 28 shows and 17 movies. During this period he received awards for best playwright and best actor (Festival Internacional de Teatro de Ouro Preto - MG). In 2003, he received 07 awards for best drama with the play "My Life in Remembrance or Memoirs of Human Chaos" He's been working on his own projects, writing for theater and cine. Recently released the book "Sobre Homens e Abismos" (About Men and Abysm). In 2011, for this puplication, Oscar Calixto was intagrate in the APALCA (Academy of the Letters, Cience and Arts - www.apalca.com.br).
