Her short film "Instagram Cat Mom" takes a peek into the life of the ultimate "PAWparazzi," delivering smiles as well as encouraging a love for kitties! This film was part of the New York Cat Film Festival and has been screened at multiple cat-fests across the US. She believes in collaboration and is passionate about finding ways to help elevate others in her field.
Jessica's skills are varied, and as a tireless producer they are boundless. Her projects display creativity and vision that captivates audiences. She has multiple projects underway and looks forward to independently producing them utilizing the creative financing and unique ways of finding the win/win/win she has adopted working on her short films.
Jessica is extremely active in the Dallas/Fort Worth film community and local festivals. As a Dallas Producers Association member she looks forward to seeing the DFW metroplex collaborate, create, and continue building a film-friendly community and State.
After graduating with a Radio/TV/Film degree from the University of North Texas, she took her knowledge, along with some fellow classmates, and began competing in the 48 Hour Film Project. Her first film, 'Empty Calories,' was disqualified by 5 minutes, however it did go on to KERA's 'Frame of Mind,' as well as won a bronze Remi award from Houston International Film Festival.
