'Biggest Loser' preview: Abby Rike and Nascar's Carl Edwards visit Season 15 contestants

On Tuesday night's (Jan. 7) episode of "The Biggest Loser," Season 8 fan favorite Abby Rike returns to the Biggest Loser Ranch and Zap2it has your first look at her visit. As the Season 15 contestants mull over their "Second Chances" theme, Abby shares an update about where she stands on her own second chance journey.

Fans of the show will no doubt recall Abby lost her husband and two young children in a tragic car accident just two-and-a-half years before competing on "The Biggest Loser." "When I stepped on this ranch, my sole focus was that I wanted to live again," Abby tells the remaining Season 15 crew.

Contestant Jennifer tells Abby, who is approaching the seven-year anniversary of her family's deaths, that she beats herself up over not being able to do what Abby could. So Abby takes that opportunity to share some heartfelt words of wisdom with her successors.

Jillian Michaels has named Abby Rike as her favourite Biggest Loser contestant of all time. The trainer told The Tonight Show with Jay Leno during an interview on Tuesday that she was touched by the season eight contestant's back story and journey. "She had lost her entire family in a car accident and managed to bring meaning to that tragedy and turn her entire life around and touch millions of people in the process," she said. The Biggest Loser “Where Are They Now?” Thanksgiving Special to Air

A two-hour Biggest Loser special entitled “Where Are They Now?” will be airing on American Thanksgiving on November 24 from 9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Over 30 former contestants will be airing on the special episode, including season nine’s Sam Poueu and Stephanie Anderson, season seven finalist Tara Costa and season six favorite Kristin Steede, among others.
