Since then, she has appeared in feature films, made-for-television movies, television series, short films, commercials, and both print and internet advertisements. Sydney has appeared in several student films, allowing her to work with many up-and-coming producers and directors. In 2011 she was invited to the Toronto International Film Festival to attend a screening for "Adventures of Owen", which was chosen by the Toronto Film Critics Association as best short film.
In addition to performing for the camera she also participates in live productions, and has been a member of the Milton Youth Theatre Productions since 2009.
