Giving back! Celebrities leant a helping hand to those in need on Wednesday, the day before Thanksgiving. Many were spotted spending the day at homeless shelters and soup kitchens around the country.

The Los Angeles Mission hosted an outdoor Thanksgiving dinner with many star servers. Nick Cannon brought his and Mariah Carey’s twins, Roe and Rocco, for the charity day.

“There's still time to make your way and join us here @thelamission#SkidRow #thanksgiving,” Cannon wrote on Instagram, sharing a pic with his 6-year-old kiddos.

Other stars serving the homeless included Emmy Rossum and her husband, Sam Esmail, Melissa Rivers, Garcelle Beauvais, Heather Morris, Minnie Driver, and Sherri Shepherd.

Kate finally gets her big break on the latest episode of This Is Us when a house band's regular lead singer falls ill and she is tapped to sit in with them. If you were wondering what the beautiful song is that Kate sings in the episode, it's called "Landslide," and its lyrics are particularly poignant for the Pearson family. Maksim Chmerkovskiy is taking "full responsibility" for his actions.

The 37-year-old dancer, who did not perform with Vanessa Lachey during this week's Guilty Pleasures-themed night on Dancing With the Stars due to "personal issues," took to Twitter on Wednesday to apologize to his partner and confirm that he will be back in the ballroom next Monday.

"As you are all aware, I had to leave the show last week to take care of some personal issues," he wrote in a series of tweets. "I take full responsibility for my absence... and want to apologize to my partner Vanessa."

"We are both looking forward to dancing for our fans next week!" he added.

#TeamShadSquad were announced as the dance competition show's season 24 champions during Tuesday night's finals, happily accepting the coveted Mirrorball trophy and hopping into a car with hosts Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews.

For their last dance, Rashad and Emma performed a cha cha-tango fusion, receiving 39/40 points from the judges, totaling 119/120 for the two-night finale.

“I don’t know if you were necessarily born to win this competition, but you’ve certainly earned it,” said Carrie Ann Inaba, as Bruno Tonioli called the NFL star a “pro’s dream.”

Julianne Hough chimed in, telling the duo, “This is a great way to finish the season. Unbelievable!”

After a season full of shocking send-homes, “Dancing With the Stars” awarded its mirrorball trophy to winner Rashad Jennings and his partner Emma Slater Tuesday night. They beat fellow finalists David Ross and Lindsay Arnold, and Normani Kordei and Val Chmerkovskiy in order to win Season 24 of the ABC staple.

Jennings joins a line of NFL players who have won the dancing competition, including Donald Driver, Hines Ward, and Emmitt Smith. It was the first win for pro dancer Emma Slater. Had Ross won, he would’ve been the first Mlb player to take the title.

The four remaining contestants danced their hearts out during Monday's Season 24 semi-finals, performing two routines apiece. Simone Biles topped the night's leaderboard with a perfect combined score of 80 out of 80, while Rashad Jennings placed second with 77, and Normani Kordei landed third with 76. Former Chicago Cubs catcher David Ross tailed in fourth place with 70.
