Ok, we're a little confused about the final season of Glee. We were previously told by the Glee boss, Ryan Murphy himself, that the final season of the Fox hit show is going to jump forward in time and go back to Lima. But based on these on-set photos taken on Monday of returning stars Dianna Agron, Naya Rivera and Heather Morris, it looks like the show has actually gone back in time. Why else would the Unholy Trinity of Quinn, Santana and Brittany be back in Cheerios uniforms, and on the McKinley High School football field?! All right, clearly Glee is not going to pull some kind of Lost twist and start jumping forward and backward in time, but we're having a hard time coming up with a reason of why »

Glee‘s “The Untitled Rachel Berry Project” feels more like a series finale than a season finale. Even though there are 13 episodes left to go before the show’s real end, I’m sure most of that time will be spent tying up loose ends, as the New York crew is going their separate ways and there is a growing hole where that rambunctious glee club used to be.
Brittany’s unceremonious return to the fold, while short lived, adds back an extra level of fun and frivolity that has been missing from the group dynamic. Fans were unsure if we’d be seeing the lovable blonde turned unlikely math genius again after the actress who plays her, Heather Morris, left the show to have and bond with her first child, »

Glee’s season finale picked up with Rachel still fulfilling her dream starring as Fanny Brice in Broadway’s Funny Girl but wanting TV gig, Blaine still trying to get Kurt a spot in his showcase and Mercedes and Sam preparing for their time apart when she goes on tour and his modeling career is taking off.
In the Brooklyn loft, Sam (Chord Overstreet) and Mercedes (Amber Riley) are cuddling up on a couch talking about Sam's dream of being on the side of a bus, when Rachel (Lea Michele) barges in to chat about their Monday night dinner guest – screenwriter Mary Halleran. Mary, a prodigy of sorts, is coming to hang out to “understand her essence” in order to write a pilot based on her life. She wants Mary to get a good look at her close pals, who she thinks are integral to her story. When »
Well, at least they gave us an explanation. Glee recently came under fire with the fans after the TV powers-that-be decided to write star Naya Rivera out of the series' season five finale. Although there were reports of a feud on set between Rivera and her co-star Lea Michele, sources exclusively revealed to E! News that Naya's departure has "nothing to do with Lea." So how did the Fox dramedy explain Rivera's obvious disappearance on Tuesday night's finale? Well it was a group effort, actually. Heather Morris returned to reprise the fan-favorite role of Brittany S. Pierce and after surprising the NYC gang at their Bushwick loft, (and giving a classic Britt-Britt greeting: "What up, »

Last week's Glee may have been more of a filler episode (most likely due to the fact that Chris Colfer wrote the script -- which had his humorous touch all over it), but now we're just days away from the season 5 finale.
In "The Untitled Rachel Berry Project," Rachel meets with a well-known TV writer (played by Kristen Schaal), Sam and Mercedes once again are dealing with their relationship and Blaine has his showcase with Shirley MacLaine's June Dolloway. Also, Heather Morris returns as Brittany, but unfortunately, Santana won't be appearing in this episode.
Glee wraps up its fifth season next Tuesday at 8 p.m. Et on Fox. In the episode, called “The Untitled Rachel Berry Project,” Mercedes (Amber Riley) begins a mall tour and gets a little backup-dancer help from her pal Brittany (Heather Morris). Watch the exclusive clip from the upcoming season finale as the two perform the original song “Shakin’ My Head” below! »

Universal Pictures announced Wednesday the five writers who have been selected to participate in the studio’s inaugural Universal Pictures Emerging Writers Fellowship, which is aimed at identifying and cultivating emerging voices in storytelling and screenwriting .
Universal’s co-presidents of production Peter Cramer and Jeffrey Kirschenbaum, who will oversee the participants, announced that the 2014-2015 fellows are Chandus T. Jackson, Margaret Rose Lester, Steve Martinez, Ivy Pruss and Saila Reyes.
The application process included multiple writing submissions and interviews with the official selection committee. More than 700 hopefuls applied. After reading the first 500 eligible scripts, the selection committee narrowed the field to 13 finalists who met in Los Angeles for interviews and meetings before the top five were chosen.
“We had an incredible group of people who applied for this fellowship, and the choice was extremely tough,” Cramer said in a statement. “The five people our committee selected are tremendously talented, and »

In the middle of the night, Rachel (Lea Michele) has a recurring nightmare of getting called to hit the stage for the premiere and not being prepared in the slightest. The nightmare also returns Karofsky (Max Adler) and Jacob Ben Israel (Josh Sussman), who publicly chastise her, while she’s naked, and then gets stuck in a mass of balloons. There’s also Santana (Naya Rivera) back in her Cheerio prime and Blaine (Darren Criss) in his Warblers ensemble. The dream ends on a good note, as she sings The Cardigan’s "Lovefool" in the McKinley High auditorium rocking one of her old sweaters.
As it turns out, the nightmares are the result of Rachel reading less than stellar reviews of »
TV Land has ordered 12 episodes of Younger, a comedy from Darren Starr. The series follows a 40-something single mom who ends up leading a double-life, including one where she passes herself as a 26-year-old. The series has an amazing cast led by Sutton Foster with Hilary Duff, Debi Mazar and Miriam Shor. A fall debut is planned.
I still miss Bunheads.
On a related note, here’s the trailer for the Rosemary’s Baby mini-series. I have to admit, the changes have me intrigued.
