The cast has been announced for Goon: Last Of The Enforcers, the follow up to 2011’s Goon directed by Michael Dowse.

Entertainment One (eOne), and producers No Trace Camping and Caramel Films, have confirmed that Liev Schreiber will return as the iconic Ross “The Boss” Rhea alongside Seann William Scott as lovable enforcer Doug “The Thug” Glatt in the highly anticipated Goon: Last Of The Enforcers, set to begin production in Toronto on June 22nd.

Also reprising their roles will be Marc-André Grondin as superstar Xavier Laflamme; Kim Coates as Highlanders Coach Ronnie Hortense; and Alison Pill as Glatt’s love interest, Eva.

Joining the returning cast are stars Wyatt Russell and Elisha Cuthbert.

Wyatt Russell, most recently seen in the 2014 hit 22 Jump Street and starring next in Richard Linklater’s That’S What I’M Talking About, played professional hockey in Canada and Europe following a collegiate career at the University of Alabama-Huntsville. »

Elisha Cuthbert Skates Her Way Into Jay Baruchel's 'Goon 2'

2011's R-rated raunchy-sports-comedy-with-a-heart-of-gold Goon is the latest comedy to be getting a sequel. And while law of averages are not in its favor when it comes to comedy sequels, Seann William Scott, Jay Baruchel, Liev Schreiber and Alison Pill are all set to return and throw around hockey pucks as much as they do certain four-letter words in Goon: Last of the Enforcers. Joining them inside the ice rink, however, is Elisha Cuthbert. The "24" and Girl Next Door star joins the movie to play Pill's outlandish sister. Pill plays Eva, the love interest to rising hockey star Doug "The Thug" Glatt (Scott). This new movie finds Doug and his team, Halifax Highlanders, working with a variety of new players during a pro lockout. So it looks like Cutherbert isn't the only newbie in the Goon universe, and with production to begin on June 21 in Toronto under producers David Gross, Jesse Shapira and Jeff Arkuss, »

Actor Jay Baruchel Will Direct 'Goon' Sequel 'Last of the Enforcers'

Now this is good news. THR is reporting that the sequel to Goon, the awesome cult hockey movie starring Seann William Scott, will be directed by actor Jay Baruchel, making his directorial debut with this film. Baruchel is a major proponent behind the entire film, as he's co-writing the screenplay with Jesse Chabot, and also starring again as Seann William Scott's character's friend Pat. Of course they've got Seann William Scott back as violent hockey player Doug "The Thug" Glatt and they're already gearing up to start filming in June in Toronto. I've got a good feeling about this, it all sounds quite promising, especially with Baruchel. It was also revealed the title of this follow-up is Goon: Last of the Enforcers. Bring on the hockey fights. The film will be produced by David Gross, Jesse Shapira, and Jeff Arkuss of No Trace Camping and André Rouleau of Caramel Films. »
