Indican Pictures has picked up director Haynze Whitmore’s horror film, Crepitus, for domestic theatrical, digital, and DVD distribution. Starring Eve Mauro and horror vet Bill Moseley, the film follows seventeen-year-old Elizabeth and her younger sister Sam who are thrust into terrifying circumstances when they are forced to move into their deceased Grandfather’s house. Frightened beyond belief, they learn horrible things about their family history. Never mind the ghosts in the house, there is something far worse that takes an interest in them … a cannibalistic clown named Crepitus (Moseley). Chalet Lizette Brannan, Caitlin Williams, and Lance Paul co-star. Indican will release Crepitus theatrically on ten screens in major markets on November 1, followed by DigitalHD and DVD release on December 13. Crepitus is another film with a killer clown. From director Haynze Whitmore, two girls move to their grandfather's house. In the basement, an immortal clown feasts on the living. Crepitus stars Bill Moseley (3 from Hell) as the clown, along with: Eve Mauro ("Age of the Living Dead"), Darren Barcomb (Krampus: The Devil Returns) and Chalet Lizette Brannan. The film will show in theatres, this November and a DVD release will begin this December. A trailer has been released for the film, by Indican. The clip shows sisters Elizabeth (Caitlin Williams) and Sam (Brannan) exploring a haunted house, until a creepy clown emerges. Then, it is a struggle with the darkness as these two face a family secret. Crepitus will show in at least ten theatres, this November. This release will be followed by another this December 13th. On this second date, the film will be available on DVD and Digital platforms.
