He started performing on stage through school plays at the age of five. He loved being on stage and was very comfortable in front of an audience. He appeared in wonderful notable performances in many plays and musicals during his childhood and early adolescent years.
Over the years, Vince has worked extensively in Film and Television. He is looking forward to get back on stage in the near future.

He is fluent in English, French and Tamil. He started performing on stage through school plays at the age of five. He loved being on stage and was very comfortable in front of an audience. He appeared in wonderful notable performances on stage as a Rapper in a play called "Ruth", and played the lead as Romeo in William Shakespeare's play "Romeo & Juliet" in the local Theatre productions in Parkdale.
He auditioned for the Acting For Film and Television program at Humber College in the Summer of 2002. He was accepted into the program. He learned under wonderful acting teachers such as Neil Dainard, Michael Caruana, Rod Ceballos, John Bourgeois, and Roland Parliament. He was trained for voice and movement by two amazing teachers: Paul Dejong (Voice) and Viv Moore (Movement). He learned stage combat through a grueling, incredible teacher Steve Wilsher. He graduated from the program in the Summer of 2004. He recently took a Master Class with world renown and wonderful Acting Teacher/Coach, Larry Moss. Larry Moss has been a revelation to Vince Jerad since the day he met him back in 2004.
Vince has been continually acting in independent films. He played a drug dealer in "Near Death", directed by Jason Plusec. He played Dileep Kumar, a supporting role, in the critically acclaimed Tamil short film, called "Red Winter", a psychological thriller directed by K.B.Nath. He gained 25 pounds for the role. He co-directed the film as well. The film won the "Best Editing Award" at the Tamil Short Film Festival. He recently received outstanding reviews and recognition from the audience and critics for his performance as Mathan, a wonderful and comedic supporting role in the critically acclaimed feature film "1999". The film, written and directed by Lenin M. Sivam, dealt with the issue of troubled Tamil gangs in Toronto in the 90's. He was the Assistant Director, who had creative and logistical authority on the film. He helped refine and guide most of the performances of the actors in the film. "1999" has gone on to win many accolades from film festivals, critics and audiences alike. It has received the "Top 10 Best Canadian Films of 2009" at the Vancouver International Film Festival, "Best Film Award" at the Norway Oslo Tamil Festival 2010, "CBC ReelChoice Audience Award" at the Reel World Film Festival 2010, "Official Selection" at the Tamil Studies Conference 2010, "Best Feature Film Award" at the Toronto Independent Art Film Society and was recently at the Moving Image Film Festival in the "Best Feature Film Showcase" in Toronto.
