Mini Biography

AJ Nickell is an actor/model/vo artist and filmmaker. He is a native Floridian with a passion for the entertainment industry. He has worked in films, TV, theatre, commercials, PSAs and industrials. He has also done live improv sketch performances at a number of local establishments. He is committed to bringing his best to every project he is involved in.

He discovered his love at an early age with his first role as circus ringmaster in a school production. He has since continued participating in school and summer productions every year. He took the leap to doing projects outside of school after his successful debut as a ventriloquist's "puppet" at Busch Gardens in 2008. The warm response he received pushed him to seek a larger audience.

Since then he has been through training and workshops to prepare himself for the opportunities he hoped to encounter. He has trained in on-camera acting, scene study, script analysis, improv, teleprompter, earprompter, hosting and even stunt skills.

Locally, he has been referred to as the "Shia Labeouf" of Central Florida and those who have seen him at work have compared his improv and comedy to a mix of "Robin Williams" and "Jim Carrey".

AJ has also worked behind the camera on a few projects and wants to continue to expand on his skills and learn every aspect. He has worked as a camera operator, script supervisor, P.A., and boom operator. He also continues to be a Youtube Video entrepreneur.
