Mini Bio (1)

Michael Nicklin is a Los Angeles-based actor, award-winning producer, and entrepreneur. He has acted in more than 30 films, dozens of commercials and industrials, and has appeared as himself on more than 300 television news programs serving as a dedicated lifestyle contributor and topic expert. Nicklin has produced a multitude of short films, industrial and promotional content, and more than 100 live events. He also produced and directed an on-location lifestyle television talk show, and segment produced for several shows on which he appeared.

A native of California, Nicklin grew up in Santa Barbara and attended San Jose State University's College of Business. In his freshman year, Nicklin began modeling and acting, appearing in TV commercials and industrials, before discovering that his innate love of acting could be expanded into helping others to find their own spotlights as well. At only 25, Nicklin was presented with the invaluable opportunity to acquire an ownership stake in the talent agency representing him, and after accepting, he became a managing partner and a SAG-AFTRA franchised agent. Nicklin represented 150 actors and models for film, television, industrials and print. After a decade of leading his agency into unprecedented growth, Nicklin launched a second successful boutique talent agency focusing on print and runway modeling in Beverly Hills.

Nicklin strategically exited his career as a talent agent after nearly 15 years when he landed a recurring contributor position on a newly launched syndicated morning lifestyle television show. He became a well-recognized on-air personality and consumer trends contributor, and appeared on news programs and network and syndicated morning shows for over a decade in Los Angeles and New York. Nicklin also served as a media performance specialist, training talent in all aspects of media appearance from teleprompter reading and IFB use to navigating the red carpet.

After spending more than a decade serving as a contract strategist for a multinational corporate incubator during the dot-com heyday of the 90s and launching a firm providing strategic consulting to more than 300 business owners and corporations, as well as creating performance based training programs for major brands including Marriott, Universal Studios, Bally, Four Seasons, Westfield, and Macy's, Nicklin decided to revisit his passion for acting and producing and reentered the entertainment industry.

He has since acted in more than 30 shorts and feature films; and commercials, industrials, music videos and web series. He has also produced several projects including short films, industrials, a PSA, and an award-winning music video. Reinvigorated by the industry, Nicklin began providing strategic counseling to actors and other artists pursuant to navigating the business and branding aspects of their careers and enjoyed doing so to the degree that he launched a boutique management company in 2013 and put his own acting pursuits on hold for three years while managing a roster of as many as 30 actors and other talent. In 2016, Nicklin resumed his acting and producing interests, and has several projects and business interests in development.

Nicklin regularly travels the world and has visited more than 60 countries. He applies the insight he gleans from his intercontinental journeys to his philanthropic work, contributing strategic counsel and hands-on assistance to a number of non-profit organizations and has served on the boards of two notable Los Angeles theatres.
