'Teen Wolf' post-mortem: Jeff Davis on those finale twists, season 5

8 September 2014 8:20 PM, PDT | EW - Inside TV | See recent - Inside TV news »

What’s a trip to Mexico without a few berserkers, one very angry werejaguar, and a near-death experience, right? That’s the attitude Teen Wolf took in its season 4 finale, when nearly everyone headed down to Mexico to save Scott from Kate, himself, and then from Peter. One hour later, we’d said (hopefully a temporary) goodbye to Chris Argent, a hello to a more powerful version of Derek, an Eichen House goodbye to Peter, and a maybe-see-you-later to Kate. As for the others, Kira had received her first tail, Jordan Parrish was about to learn a lot more about himself, »

Teen Wolf season 4 episode 1 review: The Dark Moon

23 June 2014 11:55 PM, PDT | Den of Geek | See recent Den of Geek news »

Russell Mulcahy's direction impresses in Teen Wolf's season four opener. Here's Ron's review...

This review contains spoilers.

4.1 The Dark Moon

Lots of California teenagers sneak across the border to Mexico for underage drinking and partying, but very rarely do teenagers sneak across the border to infiltrate a cadre of dangerous killers and hunt down their missing friend/mentor. Such problems are relatively rare for the average teen, but not so much for Scott McCall, Stiles, Lydia, and new friends Kira and Malia. The teens of Teen Wolf get involved in some crazy shenanigans, and it looks like those shenanigans aren't getting any less crazy as the show enters its fourth season.

Derek is missing, and as the show suggested last season, the primary culprits are a group of hunters from Mexico known as the Calaveras. Or so Scott and company think. As it turns out, the mystery is much deeper than that, »
