Angie Piccirillo grew up in the suburban outskirts of Los Angeles
county, with a family already well into their careers in the
entertainment business. Her father, Mike Piccirillo, is professional
audio/album recording engineer as well as song writer/composer for many
artists, recognizable films and television shows. Her Uncle, Jim
Piccirillo, owns his own boutique video production company specializing
in directing Live television programs as well as non-linear editing and
video production. Angie graduated Cum Laude from the Film and
Electronic Arts Program with an emphasis in Film and Video Production
in 2005 from the undergraduate program at California State University
Long Beach. She spent the duration of the program producing, shooting,
and editing over 35 short films from screenwriting all the way to
screening at Independent film festivals. In film school, her emphasis
was directing and producing, and her student film "P.M.S. A Period
Piece" received much notoriety and won many awards at film festivals
nationwide. After realizing her talent for editing, she moved strictly
into post-production, where she resides in her current career as a Post
Production Supervisor.
