Move over, Tom Brady. It looks like the New England Patriots are adding more star power to their roster, as Tim Tebow is reportedly signing to the team. According to Espn, the beleaguered quarterback will report to the Patriots' minicamp Tuesday (June 11).
In a recent report that cited unnamed sources, Patriots head coach Bill Belichick was depicted as having disdain for Tebow. But Belichick himself came out and denied the rumor.
"Every single player has strengths and weaknesses. But regardless of that, for anyone to have represented that is the way I feel about Tim Tebow is completely untrue, baseless and irresponsible," Belichick tells Espn Boston. "It is unfortunate that something so inaccurate was reported."
Tebow's last NFL start was a post-season game for the Denver Broncos against the Patriots, when "Tebow Time" ran out and he lost a playoff game to Brady's team. The move to New England will »

On Monday. the New York Jets made a decision to alter their roster by ridding themselves of quarterback Tim Tebow.
After being traded less than a year ago from the Denver Broncos to the Jets and playing in 12 games, but for just several plays, the Jets are going in a different direction, one in which that Tebow wouldn’t be a part of, and thus, the former Florida quarterback is now a free agent.
Normally when covering an NFL free agent, we would track the interest to see who would potentially be a fit for a player. With Tebow, that would be tough, because the interest in him as a quarterback isn’t there.
What we will cover is the lack of interest, and how public teams have been in saying “no thanks.”

Tim Tebow is released from the New York Jets -- finally. The team sent the quarterback packing with a rather backhanded compliment from head coach Rex Ryan.
"We have a great deal of respect for Tim Tebow," Ryan says in statement. "Unfortunately, things did not work out the way we all had hoped. Tim is an extremely hard worker, evident by the shape he came back in this offseason (losing weight). We wish him the best moving forward."
There were rumors late in the 2012 season Tebow would return to Florida with the Jacksonville Jaguars as part of a trade deal with the Jets. He now has to pass through waivers, so the Jags could still put in a claim for him if they want to. But, it sounds like they don't. A rep for the team tells USA Today, "The Jacksonville Jaguars' plans do not include Tim Tebow."

Tim Tebow‘s football career may be in serious jeopardy, as he has been dropped by the New York Jets. On April 29, the team announced that after one season, they would not to asking him to return.

Day two of the 2013 NFL Draft is in the books.
There were several big names that were still on the board once the draft kicked off its second day at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.
By the time the day was over, more of those names did in fact come off the board.

The "Guys with Kids" star, 31, just got engaged to 23-year-old pro-baseball player Cutter Dykstra. She announced the big news on Instagram, posting a photo of her new diamond ring and writing, "So this just happened..."
"She said yes!!!" Dykstra added on Twitter.
Sigler, who formerly dated New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez, was previously married to her agent A.J. Discala. The couple split in 2005.

The Jets keep making stupid decisions. Like trading for Tim Tebow, then benching him all season. Like hiring a new general manager without firing the head coach. The newest dumb move? Possibly trading Darrelle Revis.
Multiple sources have reported Revis is on the table for a future trade deal, which was news to the cornerback, who has been with the team since they selected him in the first round of the 2007 draft.

If Tim Tebow is released by the New York Jets as expected, he can cross his hometown team off the list of potential places to end up. The Associated Press reports that the Jacksonville Jaguars aren't interested.
Jaguars general manager David Caldwell shut the idea down at a news conference saying, "I can't imagine a scenario in which he'll be a Jacksonville Jaguar -- even if he's released."
A year ago Shad Khan, owner of the Jaguars, made a push to sign Tebow, but is deferring to his Gm this time. "It's not my decision," Khan says, "I want to do whatever to help this team win. Who the players are is really the general manager's and coaches' -- it's a football-side operation decision. It's really not my decision."

After a particularly bad season the New York Jets are cleaning house and among those let go is offensive coordinator Tony Sparano, who was hired in January 2012 to help the Jets' struggling offense after he was fired as head coach of the Miami Dolphins.
However, under Sparano the Jets' offense was ranked 30th in the entire league. He was also unable to find a way to consistently use the newly signed Tim Tebow, as Jets' starting quarterback Mark Sanchez and his replacement Greg McElroy struggled throughout the season.
In addition to Sparano, defensive coordinator Mike Pettine and quarterbacks coach Matt Cavanaugh are also gone as their contracts were not renewed. The three join former general manager Mike Tannenbaum who was fired last week. »
