Andre The Giant Biopic in the Works (Exclusive)

Lion Forge Comics and producers Scott Steindorff and Dylan Russell have partnered to develop a feature film about the life of iconic pro wrestler Andre “The Giant” Roussimoff.

The project is based on the authorized graphic novel biography published last year, “Andre the Giant: Closer to Heaven.” Roussimoff’s daughter Robin Christensen-Roussimoff will consult on the film and assigned the exclusive rights for the biography to the producers.

Andre the Giant rode the wave of the rise of wrestling in America, while suffering from the painful health condition of gigantism – there’s an Elephant Man story here,” Steindorff said.

Yesterday, we gave you the first look at IFC Films' upcoming horror remake Cabin Fever, with the first photo that featured a new version of The Bunny Man. Thankfully, horror fans don't have to wait too long for the first footage, because Bloody-Disgusting debuted the trailer today. While none of the stars of the original Cabin Fever are present, this remake offers a new take on writer-director Eli Roth's script.

First Look at 'Cabin Fever' Remake from Producer Eli Roth

Back in September, we reported that IFC Films has acquired the distribution rights for the highly-anticipated Cabin Fever remake, which was directed by Travis Zariwny, a.k.a. Travis Z. The announcement revealed the studio would release this horror movie in 2016, although a specific release date was not given. Today we have the first official photo from this remake, which has been given a February 12 release date, putting it up against Deadpool, How to Be Single and Zoolander 2.
