Sebastian Buczyk is an NYC-based filmmaker, actor, and writer. He directed 6 short films: Girl, Welcome, Chase, He Is The Ocean, 2nd Ave, and Homework. 'He Is The Ocean' won the Emerging Filmmaker Award and 'Homework' won the Cinematography Award at the Dorothy Hirshon Film Festival. He wrote a short film Bleed that was in the competition at SIFF (Seattle). In 2017, Sebastian directed a short film 'East Village vs. West Village' with Emma Hepburn Ferrer starring. His most recent work includes cinematography for Central Park Dark, a feature film starring Tom Sizemore. He is working on a feature film 'Bastard' based on a script he wrote and that he will direct. Sebastian is involved in ongoing projects on film and TV.
Sebastian has also worked in theatre as a writer, director, and actor. He directed a play, 'Shaman', for La Tea Theater Festival on the Lower East Side. He wrote and directed 'Mother, Mother' and 'Who is Afraid of Lady Macbeth' for Urban Artist Collective.
