"I am having so much fun with this character, probably a little too much fun. Occasionally in a career, you get one or two chances to just really enjoy your work and have it not feel like work—even though it is hard work. It's just a blessing. I'll play her as long as I can, as long as I'm standing. I'd play her in a wheelchair. I love Missy. She's great fun." The new season of "Doctor Who" returns this Saturday.

The most bizarre and trippy series on television over the past two years will wrap up its home video campaign when Sony Pictures Home Entertainment brings Syfy's Helix Season 2 to Blu-ray and DVD on a July 28, 2015 release date.
The second season of Helix stars Billy Campbell, Kyra Zagorsky, Matt Long, Mark Ghanime, Jordan Hayes, Neil Napier, Alison Louder, Severn Thompson and Steven Weber. The series was co-executive produced by Battlestar Galactica's Ronald D. Moore and followed a Cdc team that encountered an incredibly dangerous virus and a sinister plot behind its creation and dispersion.
Season 2 went an entirely new direction following the chilly events of Season 1 and creatively jumped the shark a little, resulting in Syfy not picking up the series for a third season despite an intriguing cliffhanger ending that jumped into the future. Regardless of its short run, Helix is definitely worth a watch from beginning to its abbreviated end. »

A group of 30-ish friends’ party weekend turns into an excuse for some group transgressions and individual soul searching in “Milwaukee.” Torre Catalano’s debut feature — written in collaboration with several cast members, including spouse Martha MacIsaac — is a diverting, smoothly packaged ensemble seriocomedy. Like its characters, the pic makes for pleasant, mildly titillating company without ever suggesting there’s much depth to be plumbed beneath the attractive, slightly bland surface. Though its lack of marquee names will be a limitation, “Milwaukee” should parlay a decent fest run into niche sales in various formats, while serving as a solid calling card for the principal collaborators.
Sam (Alex Ashbaugh) had intended this getaway at his family’s California desert home to be an intimate one, during which he’d pop the question to longtime mate Isabella, aka Beans (Jodi Balfour). But somehow that morphed into an open invitation to several old »

Last year, Helix did pretty well in the ratings so Syfy renewed it for a second season. Will the ratings rise or fall this time around? Cancelled or renewed for season three? Stay tuned.

Syfy's Arctic-set, pandemic-themed, sci-fi/horror series "Helix" became infamous last year for it's sheer craziness. Character and plot curveballs were thrown fast left and right to the point that it didn't make a whole lot of sense - especially towards the end.
The network has now released a new trailer for the show's second season which moves the action to a mysterious tropical island where a science-based cult is falling victim to a disease which Dr. Alan Farragut (Billy Campbell) and his team investigates.
