Actress from Down Under joins Dhoom 3 team

Australia actress Tabrett Bethell will be joining Aamir Khan and Katrina Kaif as well as Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra on sets of Dhoom: 3, making her Hindi film debut.

“Please welcome the lovely Tabrett Bethell who joins the cast of Dhoom: 3 today,” Uday Chopra tweeted Friday.

Tabrett first starred in and is best known for her role as Cara in the TV show Legend of the Seeker back in 2009, and starred in movies Strangers Lovers Killers and Anyone You Want. Earlier, names such as Penelope Cruz, Natalie Portman and Eva Longoria were mentioned to play opposite Aamir Khan, but the gorgeous Aussie girl bagged the role.

Before acting, Tabrett was a cheerleader for the National Rugby League (Nrl) and was a model from the age of 16.

We look forward to seeing what she brings to the screen in the highly anticipated Dhoom: 3!
