- Born and raised in Fairbanks, Alaska, David's first on-screen role was a series of commercials for Airborne where he starred as Sebastian, a Fabio-esque romance novel hero, in 2008. He began as a series regular on the ABC sudser "One Life to Live" in 2009.
Since his stint in daytime drama, David has played recurring characters on "The Good Fight" (CBS), "Insatiable" (Netflix), "Constantine" (NBC), and "Deception" (NBC). He recently guest starred opposite Neil Patrick Harris in the Netflix comedy "Uncoupled".

- When asked if he could ride a horse during the Airborne commercial auditions, he said that the only horse he'd been on was a pony at a state fair when he was 6. He was hired anyway and flew to Toronto on an afternoon's notice. The next day, he learned how to ride a horse. Bareback.
