Bill Nye: Science Guy offers an intimate, behind the bow tie look at the eccentric and flawed star of the public television series he co-created with James McKenna and Erren Gottlieb. Directed by David Alvarado and Jason Sussberg, the documentary shows us a man quite literally struggling to come back in an anti-science environment. McKenna and Gottlieb, once burned by Nye’s attempt to launch a pilot with a different set of producers, posit the theory that his fatal flaw is he misses the limelight. Nye at least is working through his insecurities — having left him single and unable to achieve intimacy in his relationships — with a therapist as he transitions, to quote friend Neil deGrasse Tyson, from “Bill Nye: The Science Guy to Bill Nye: Science Statesman.”
It isn’t all doom and gloom as the documentary injects Nye’s humor throughout. He takes on Ken Ham »

Although ABC says politics played no role in its recent cancellation of Last Man Standing, many fans seem certain the show got axed due to its political incorrectness and espousal of “conservative views.”
A new Change.org petition threatening to boycott ABC over the cancellation has amassed more than 245,000 signatures and argues that the show was “not just selling conservative ideas,” but the idea that people of different political views can still “get along and take care of one another.”
“Last Man Standing is one of the only shows on broadcast television, and the only sitcom, that is not constantly »

Bristol and Dakota also share 1 and 1/2-year-old daughter Sailor Grace Meyer, and Tripp Johnston-Palin, 8, Bristol's son with ex Levi Johnston. She and Dakota will celebrate »
“Her birth was a breeze and Dakota did amazing!!” Palin blogged about her bundle of joy, who entered the world weighing 7 lbs., 4 oz. on May 8. “[Dakota] held my hand, took care and encouraged me the entire time. I could not have a more supportive husband. This pregnancy has strengthened our bond and made our relationship stand even firmer on the foundation that we have proudly built up for our little family.”
Palin, who is the daughter of politician Sarah Palin, described how her older kids are embracing having a baby »
Bristol Palin just let the world know that her one-week-old daughter Atlee Bay Meyer is doing "amazing" and that her third bundle of love has "changed the whole dynamic of our family." Earlier today, Sarah Palin's daughter wrote a lengthy blog post, updating her fans on her wee one. "My littlest baby is a week old today! I feel like it's flown by, but also feel like she's been here all along. She was born May 8th, weighing 7 lbs and 4 oz, measuring 20 in long with a lot of dark hair!" The personality also wrote about Atlee's delivery, explaining, "Her birth was a breeze, we had the best doctor/nurses imaginable, and Dakota did amazing!! He held my hand, took care »
Back in 2012, a dumb little film called Iron Sky was released. The movie was about as campy and silly as one would expect. The plot revolved around the conspiracy theory that Nazis left Earth and set up a base on the dark side of the moon. The movie itself didn’t live up to the expectations it set, but the style and concept still had serious potential, so when it was announced that they’d be making a second film, I counted myself as intrigued. This next film, it seemed would play off two big conspiracy theories.
The first conspiracy theory was that of a hollow Earth, and the second was the conspiracy theory that many of today’s leaders are actually shapeshifting reptiles. In 2014, the producers released a series of teasers, including one with Sarah Palin, Vladimir Putin, and (randomly) Jesus Christ going full pulp on us. However, it »

This is their second child together. Their first child, Sailor Grace, was born in 2015, and Palin’s eldest, Tripp, was born in 2008 from a previous relationship.

The creators of The New Statesman on how B’Stard was a Tory ‘hero’ and why they’re bringing back the show for the satire-starved post-truth era
Satire can sometimes end up strengthening the people it’s supposed to be smashing. Sarah Palin only took on her full iconic form under Tina Fey’s truthy parody. Tory MP Norman Tebbit drew glamour from his truncheon-wielding bovver-boy Spitting Image caricature. Harry Enfield’s Loadsamoney quickly became a Sun-endorsed fanfare for the common man rather than a biting grotesque. To which list you could easily add Rik Mayall as Sir Alan Beresford B’Stard MP.
From 1987 to 1992, ITV’s unhinged sitcom The New Statesman centred on the scheming of B’Stard, a Conservative MP who revelled in every “greed is good” and “Tory sleaze” cliche of the time. The tale of a shameless, shagaholic money-grubber, the show began with B’Stard nobbling »

President Trump‘s 100th day in office is right around the corner, and former Obama White House photographer Pete Souza is marking the milestone with a look back at a certain other president’s first 100 days.
As part of a new weeklong photo series, Souza has been sharing snapshots of the defining moments of Barack Obama‘s early days as president — from his inauguration night in 2009, to visiting U.S. troops in Iraq, to coping with the economic crisis.
In the months since President Trump’s inauguration, Souza has regularly used his Instagram account to compare and contrast the two »

Bill Shine has long been given credit as being a driving force behind Fox News Channel. He was a longtime guiding hand behind veteran anchors like Sean Hannity and Greta van Susteren, and is said to be a key determinant of how the network’s anchors present the issues on air each broadcast day.
But now a series of press stories and fiery tweets from Hannity himself have put Shine in a spotlight he would probably like to avoid.
Sean Hannity, the only remaining Fox News primetime anchor who has ties back to the network’s earliest days, on Thursday used Twitter to vent his frustration about a New York magazine report suggesting that Shine, currently a co-president of Fox News, had sought public support from the Murdoch family, the controlling shareholders of Fox News parent 21st Century Fox. “Somebody High Up And Inside Fnc is trying to get an innocent person fired,” Hannity »

Bristol Palin is feeling like a whale.
At least, according to her latest Instagram post.
The mom of two — soon to be three! — shared two photos of herself with husband Dakota Meyer lounging around at home and sporting silly faces with the caption “real life” accompanied by a whale emoji.
The daughter of former Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin is just weeks away from giving birth to her third child, and her second with Meyer, a daughter.
Palin announced she was expecting in December of 2016.
“We are so excited to announce that our family is expanding!” the couple said in a statement. »

Many fans on Twitter were missing former President Barack Obama more than ever as he delivered his first public remarks since leaving office during a forum in his adopted hometown of Chicago on Monday.

He opened his remarks with a joke, asking the crowd: “So uh, what’s been going on while I’ve been gone? »

Kid Rock, Ted Nugent and Sarah Palin's White House visit this week was the target of multiple jokes from late-night shows on Thursday, with James Corden, Stephen Colbert and Jimmy Fallon all poking fun at the famous visitors.
Corden, in particular, seemed to enjoy the photo Trump's guests took with the president in the oval office.
"For once, Trump really was the smartest person in the room," he said, laughing, on The Late Late Show.

Sarah Palin, Kid Rock and Ted Nugent walked into the White House…. and that’s not the beginning of a bad joke, but something that actually happened. Palin, appearing on “The Lead With Jake Tapper,” was responding to a question about the departure of Bill O’Reilly in the wake of allegations of sexual harassment. He has denied the merits of the claims.
In the interview, Tapper asked Palin whether she ever experienced sexual harassment or was a witness to it at the network.
“You can ask them why I am no longer with Fox,” she said. “I’m not going to speak for them. My contract wasn’t renewed. That’s the line.”
Pressed again, Palin said, “It was time to part ways, get out there in a more diverse arena to express views and to speak for the public.”
Palin was a contributor to Fox News, but her contract was not renewed in 2015.
She said that she “wouldn’t put up with »
