Winfield Scott (1920–2015)

Winfield Scott was born in New York City. He was initially a singer/songwriter. Early in his career he was known as Robbie Kirk of the singing group 'The Cues". In 1954 he worked with record producer Art Ertegun of Atlantic Records, where he met La Vern Baker. He wrote "Tweedlee Dee" in 1954 for Ms Baker which became a #4 R'n'B and #14 Pop hit for...
