Produced by Apoorva Lakhia and directed by newcomer and former Apoorva assistant Shawn Arranha, the story of the film starts with six young friends playing Hide & Seek on Christmas Eve, but something terrible happens. 12 years later, they have to play once again and this time it is for their lives! Apoorva Lakhia, the man behind Ek Ajnabee, Shootout at Lokhandwala and Mission Istaanbul, will now be putting on the producer's hat for his next film titled Hide & Seek. The film is directed by debutant director Shawn Arranha who has worked as an assistant director with Lakhia for many years. The film stars Purab Kohli, of Rock On!! fame, and Arjan Bajwa (Fashion) along with several young and enthusiastic actors including Samir Kochhar, Ayaz Khan, Mrinalini Sharma and Amruta Patki.
The story of Hide & Seek revolves around six friends who play a game of hide and seek at a Christmas party when something goes terribly wrong, changing their lives forever. They are reunited again by the killer after 12 years, this time trapped inside a shopping mall, where their friendship is tested as they try to stay alive.
