The Recording Academy announced a wide range of musical greats been added to the 2017 Grammys line up on Tuesday. Aziz Ansari’s comparison of Chris Brown and Donald Trump during his recent Saturday Night Live hosting gig should have upset only one, maybe two people—the singer and the President. Ansari’s crack that Brown and Trump fans willfully ignore their more objectionable traits did piss off the former, though the best “insult” he could muster was to call the Master Of None creator “Aladdin.” With nearly all pertinent parties having weighed in, you’d think the whole thing would have blown over.
