- Jonathan Huw Sweet was born in Nottingham in 1985 to a solicitor father and a school-teacher mother and, after attending Nottingham High School, went on to gain a first class degree in English at Pembroke College, Cambridge. Here he became part of the Footlights Review along with Simon Bird and Joe Thomas, who would later form half of the 'In-Betweeners' in the successful comedy series. Jonny appeared at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, both with Joe Thomas and as a solo stand-up comic, winning the best new-comer award for his routine About Arthur, centering on a fictional brother. Abandoning his ambition to go into publishing Jonny first came to television notice playing prime minister David Cameron in the spoof documentary 'When Boris Met Dave' and appeared in guest roles in youth-orientated sitcoms like 'The In-Betweeners' and 'Off the Hook';. In 2011 he combined with Bird and Thomas to create and star in 'Chickens', a comedic look at lads who had failed to join up in World War One and in 2015 he wrote and appeared in the romantic sitcom 'Together' opposite Cara Theobold. In 2015 he also formed his own production company with Simon Bird, Guilty Party.- IMDb Mini Biography By: don @ minifie-1
