The Avarice Movie Trailer has premiered. Matthew Schilling‘s Avarice (2011) stars Brad Dourif, Kevin Sorbo, Ray Park, Jason London, and Natassia Malthe. Avarice‘s plot synopsis: “A mysterious box from space lands in the desert; it holds the power to grant anyone’s desires, but at a deadly cost. When a group of strangers are brought together by their most desperate desires, they will unwittingly release the evil darkness lurking inside.” Avarice looks like a mixture of more than a few action films in one. A western, Justified, The Box, etc. I haven’t seen Natassia Malthe in a film in some time. If you are ignorant of who Natassia Malthe is, look at this post: Uwe Boll Petition. It looks like she is only in a flashback in the film. Avarice also stars Patricia Richardson, Tinsel Korey, Laura Spencer, Kelcie Stranahan, Shelby Janes, Will Rolland, and Rudy Alvarado. I »

Brad Dourif (Lotr, Deadwood), Ray Park (Star Wars, X-Men), Kevin Sorbo (Hercules) and Tinsel Korey (Twilight: New Moon & Eclipse) fight over a magic box from the cosmos in this truly stellar looking new indie scifi thriller that looks nothing short of 2001: A Space Odyssey meets No Counrty for Old Men. You gotta see this, people.
