A native Californian, she was raised briefly in San Francisco before
moving to Orange County for the remainder of her childhood. With her
natural gift of movement & artistic vision, she founded her own dance
team at the age of 17 & led them to 2nd place at the State
Championships for 2 consecutive years. She immediately became an
in-demand choreographer throughout the city. As she coached and
choreographed for several years helping others to hone their dance
skills, she honed her acting skills at an intensive acting
conservatory. Upon graduation, she has gone on to work for several
projects.
Career highlights include a role in the TV series 90210, a feature in the critically-acclaimed series Flash-Forward & the supporting role of Sharon in Yemane I. Demissie's feature film, Dead Weight. The film premiered at London's Black Filmmakers International Film Festival. Bora's Sharon was the catalyst that brought together the two main characters. In addition, Bora has appeared in national television & print ads for top brands such as Disney, Volkswaagen, Chase Bank/United Air, L'oreal,Capital One and more.
Bora's prime look of sexy meets smart, along with her naturalness on camera has given her consideration for several prominent roles in TV series such as Fox's Gang Related as a sexy & lethal Korean mob boss. The recurring character called for someone with both the body of Salome & the intellect of a chess player. Alongside her work in entertainment, she is a lover of adventure & travel. She is in the works of developing an adventure series.
