Bill Skarsgard and Landon Liboiron star on Netflix’s hit horror series Hemlock Grove as Godfrey estate heir Roman and werewolf Peter Rumancek – two teenage boys with a decidedly ambiguous relationship.
The two characters are first brought together in Hemlock Grove’s first season when Peter is falsely accused of murdering two teenage girls and Roman tries to find the true culprit. Over the course of the season, the nature of their relationship led many viewers to think that more than just a friendship was brewing between the two.
“Yeah, I mean it’s a fun thing that a lot of people saw. I guess there is sort of a romance between them,” Skarsgard told uInterview exclusively, adding that “the sexual tension between the two characters” wasn’t his or Liboiron’s intention.
Liboiron conceded that some of the fan art »
Bill Skarsgard and Landon Liboiron play Roman and Peter on Netlfix’s original series Hemlock Grove, which showcases a lot of tension between the two in the just-released Season 2. “Where the fist season leaves us is that their relationship is shattered because of everything that happened,” Skarsgard, who is the brother of True Blood hunk Alexander Skarsgard and son of famed Swedish actor Stellan Skarsgard, told uInterview exclusively, “and where the second season begins, both Peter and Roman are completely dealing with their own demons. And they couldn't be further apart.”
Still many fans see a budding romance between Roman and Peter. “The sexual tension between the characters, and that was never full intention from neither one of us," said Skarsgard. "But I’ve seen a lot of fan art, that they just want to picture that.” Although the show’s writer Brian McGreevy may not have intended a romance between the characters, »
It’s another unusual day in Hemlock Grove.

And nearly the entire cast returns including Famke Janssen, Bill Skarsgard, Landon Liboiron, Dougray Scott, Tiio Horn, Joel de la Fuente and Demore Barnes. Madeline Brewer and Madeleine Martin are set to join the cast this season.
During the second season, more mysterious murders are being committed around town as Roman Godfrey and Peter Rumancek must re-team to uncover the mysteries of the murders and their families.

In one small Pennsylvania town, the phrase “growing pains” takes on an excruciating new meaning. Last season Netflix’s Hemlock Grove had a face-ripping werewolf transformation nominated for an Emmy, and with the next season now available, Eli Roth and company are bringing back more gore with a werewolf turning back into its human form, and by the intense looks of the behind-the-scenes video, this reformation is something Rick Baker would likely be proud of.

Don’t you worry about Famke Janssen’s powerful, sexy Olivia Godfrey. Though things looked shaky for her at the close of Season One of the Netflix original horror hit "hemlock Grove," Famke told us, "Olivia typically finds her way out of any peril. She is unstoppable."
Just in case you’ve never visited “Hemlock Grove,” it’s a fictional town in Pennsylvania peopled with werewolves, monsters and creatures of all sorts. In Season One, Roman Godfrey, heir to the town’s wealthy Godfrey family fortune, befriended the town’s newest resident, Peter Rumancek.
But things weren’t so “friendly.” A spate of brutal murders in the town stirred up speculation and rumors, and it turned out both young men were hiding their own dark secrets.
Stirring up trouble, quite often, is the family’s malevolent matriarch, Olivia. One of Olivia’s favorite playthings is Norman Godfrey (Dougray Scott), her dead husband’s brother. »

The first season of Hemlock Grove, the Netflix series based on Brian McGreevy’s novel, was disappointing. After a promising start, it traded scares and mystery for a lot of melodrama and silliness more at home on networks like CW or ABC Family. By the end it was hard to care who the killer was. When it was finally over, the main feeling was one of relief. Now, it’s back for a second season, which Netflix is making available to stream in its entirety at midnight on Friday, July 11th. Having seen more than half of the season’s 10 episodes, it’s frustrating to report that it is basically the exact same show. In fact, season 2 is probably a little worse than its predecessor.
