'Tis the Friday the 13th before Christmas, and all through the house an evil creature is stirring... well, lots of creatures, actually. Nasty, deadly ones, to be exact. You'll be singing “Oh Holy Crap” when you see what this sinister Santa brought all the bad boys and girls this year, courtesy of the demented video for “This Christmas (I'll Burn it to the Ground)” by Florida-based symphonic rock quintet Set It Off. The track comes from the new compilation album Punk Goes Christmas, the latest entry in the Punk Goes series from Fearless Records. In addition to “This Christmas,” the record features roof-raising holiday anthems by New Found Glory, All Time Low, Issues, Yellowcard and many more... but the clip below shoots this title to the top of our macabre gift list, not only for sheer creepiness, but because it's a pretty badass track to boot, showcasing the band's hooky melodic skills, »

The sometimes elusive Trent Reznor -- the man behind the industrial rock project Nine Inch Nails -- has spent much of 2013 in the limelight, releasing the band's first album since 2008 and staging a massive tour. Last night, Nine Inch Nails made its first network TV appearance in 25 years on "Jimmy Kimmel Live." Watch him below play “All Time Low," off the new album "Hesitation Marks." In another first, this week Nine Inch Nails performed “All The Love In The World" for the first time at a show in San Antonio, Texas. The song kicks off its 2005 album »

Kids In Glass Houses emerged in the wave of post Blink 182 pop-punk bands alongside You Me At Six, Simple Plan, All Time Low and Fall Out Boy. Hooks were falling from every pore as the albums ‘Smart Casual’ and ‘Dirt’ gained them increasingly more airplay and recognition. Then came the third album; ‘In Gold Blood.’ Hooks were still everywhere but the tone became more serious as the band seemed to be keen on moving towards a new direction. Frontman Aled Phillips said; “It’ll be a concept record, a big, grown-up rock record. It’s going to document a journey. I don’t want to give too much away, but it’s looking to be our most ‘mature’ album.” However it turned out that the album’s concept was to wear feathers at Sonisphere and try to be more like Lostprophets, and that’s never a good thing. »

There is a certain musical formula required in order to create an instant hit. But for some reason, some songs slip through the cracks, and then what’s even more baffling is that these songs hit number one. These songs either rely on an incredible gimmick, perhaps a dance routine or an animated frog. Others are just terrible songs.
But what were the worst number ones? Well, that’s what we’ll try to get to the bottom of. Taken strictly as songs, stripping away all gimmicks or the intentions behind their release, none of them deserved to hit number as they’re all quite subpar songs. But why stall any longer, on with the show.
50. Robbie Williams: Millennium (1998)
What is that chorus? I don’t even know. Released to coincide with the upcoming turn of the millennium, it was clear Williams wanted a sure fire hit. Now the »

As a passionate fan of Trent Reznor's music for nearly a quarter-century, I knew this review would be quite an undertaking, but now the time has come to step up and swing. My initial thrill came early this year, when Nine Inch Nails' founder announced that his legendary band would not only be returning to the stage in 2013 after a four-year hiatus (and five years away from the studio), but had already been at work on the new album Hesitation Marks, so the excitement and anticipation was understandably high. The title, which refers to the tenuous flesh wounds made by someone contemplating suicide, suggested we were about to visit another very dark corner of Reznor's psyche – an idea reinforced by the return of mixed media artist Russell Mills, who created the cover for the band's darkest, most emotionally devastating album The Downward Spiral. But then came that inevitable »

Nine Inch Nails, "Hesitation Marks" (Columbia)
Sun-kissed harmonies, funk-flecked guitar lines and – whisper it – a saxophone workout all make an appearance on "Hesitation Marks," a surprising new offering from Trent Reznor's Nine Inch Nails after a lengthy, self-imposed hiatus.
In the five years since the industrial rockers' last album, the 48-year old Reznor has won an Academy Award for his soundtrack work on "The Social Network," married musician Mariqueen Maandig and become a father to two young boys. These developments are apparent in the makeup of "Hesitation Marks," where chinks of light occasionally penetrate the darkness so prevalent on the band's previous releases.
"Wish me well - I've become something else (just as well, really)" sings the front man on the surprisingly poppy track "Everything," which has spawned a fan-made video of Reznor riding a white unicorn in front of a rainbow. Elsewhere, the falsetto-vocals and staccato guitar line of "All Time Low, »
Nine Inch Nails’ “Hesitation Marks” isn’t out until next Tuesday (Sept. 3), but fans can stream Nin's album in its entirety now via iTunes. The album comes in standard and deluxe versions (and with four covers), with the latter featuring three bonus tracks: "Find My Way (Oneohtrix Point Never Remix)," "All Time Low (Todd Rundgren remix)" and "While I'm Still Here (Breyer P-Orridge 'Howler' Remix)" ( Ok, how cool is a Todd Rundgren remix? ) First single, “Came Back Haunted,” has reached Top 10 at Modern Rock Radio, while the poppy (by Nin standards) second single, “Everything” is also doing well. »
Zap2it: When did you know you wanted to be an actor?
Ross Lynch: I always knew I wanted to be an actor; it was never a decision.
Zap2it: What music do you listen to?
Ross Lynch: Any genre, there are certain songs that make you feel things, certain songs, just wow. I love OneRepublic, The Script, All Time Low. I love pretty much every genre. I love the Rolling Stones and Elvis.
Zap2it: What are your favorite books?
Ross Lynch: I just read "The Catcher in the Rye." After I read the book, I missed his personality. And obviously you can't go wrong with Shakespeare. My favorite poem ever was Annabel Lee by Edgar Allan Poe.
Zap2it: Are you recognized from "Austin & Ally"?
Ross Lynch: Every day someone says, "Oh my gosh you're Austin." It's all very sweet.
Zap2it: Who recognizes you? »
Nine Inch Nails has revealed the track listing for “Hesitation Marks,” out Sept. 3. In addition to first single, “Came Back Haunted,” the rest of the titles hint at the sense of restless discontent (to put it mildly) the group is known for, including “The Eater of Dreams,” “Disappointed,” “All Time Low,” “Various Methods of Escape,” and “Black Noise.” Nine Inch Nails head Trent Reznor produced the album with his composing partner Atticus Ross and Alan Moulder. Among the guests are Fleetwood Mac’s Lindsey Buckingham, bassist Pino Palladino, and guitarist Adrian Belew, who dropped out of the band, according to Rolling »

Not many bands can draw a crowd from so many generations. From 6 year olds in banners bigger than they are to teens with My Chemical Romance tattoos to middle age punks with Bad Religion jackets they are all being represented here today.
All Time Low are essentially a Blink 182 tribute band to the kids who were too young for the three piece. Their perky pop with guitars is entertaining enough although unoriginal. The more upbeat ‘Time Bomb’ and ‘Lost In Stereo’ go down best in a half empty stadium. Jack Barakat, per usual, lowers the tone with butt and your mum jokes and it just feels unnecessary and a tad creepy.

The Wanted's Nathan Sykes is having throat surgery on his birthday. The 'All Time Low' hitmakers were hoping to record their next album in time for a world tour at the end of the year, but the boys - Siva Kaneswaran, Jay McGuiness, Max George and Tom Parker- are now worried about their future as Nathan prepares to have a procedure on his haemorrhaging nodule when he turns 19 tomorrow (18.04.13), leaving him unable to talk for up to a month. A source told The Sun newspaper: 'It's not good at all. Nathan has battled with throat issues for a while but this is far more serious. 'After the once-over by the specialist, he was instructed to have almost immediate »
Update: Apparently their official Vevo video is not available until March 29th at 7:00pm Et. Head over the E! to watch it now. Sorry, guys!
The Wanted finally premiered the new music video for their latest single, "All Time Low," on Thursday evening, much to the delight of fans who trended #AllTimeLowVideo worldwide on Twitter for several hours leading up to the release. The vid features a compilation of clips from live shows and goofy behind-the-scenes footage of Max, Nathan, Jay, Tom and Siva on tour. (Perhaps a nod to their upcoming reality show?) Watch above.
This is actually the second "All Time Low" video The Wanted has released -- the dance-pop track was the debut single off their U.K. album in 2010. The slightly-more-serious music video features the boys wandering around a dark, abandoned warehouse. Watch below.

The Wanted is here. Well, the world premiere of their new music video for "All Time Low" is here. The single has already been a huge hit in the U.K., and now it's getting a U.S. release. The video is an awesome compilation of the many Wanted performances from around the world. "I'm really excited," Tom Parker says. "For me, personally, it's my favorite song that we've ever done." »
Cassadee Pope has been hard at work in Nashville for the past two months, writing and recording her first solo album. And while some songs are personal, others are more about what those closest to her have gone through. "Definitely love," the season 3 winner of The Voice says of one major theme. "There are songs about someone cheating or being [cheated on]. These are things I've never gone through personally, but as an artist, I want people to relate." "I have friends who have been through these things, so I want to be people's inspiration, and for them to know that they aren't alone. »

While I respect mostly every music genre, except electronic dance music, my complete admiration lies within the walls of rock n’ roll. Overtime, the progression of this category has continuously left me satisfied, only if you don’t count the off course traveling of rock into the pop realm, producing outfits, such as All Time Low. Steering clear of that direction, rock n’ roll continues a promising path with Grammy winning artists like The Black Keys, Jack White and Foo Fighters leading the contemporary way. As rock n’ roll pushes on, it includes the elements that shaped it during the classic rock era as well. Artists from previous decades re-emerge with [ Read More ]

The British-Irish fivesome will live together in an L.A. mansion for the E! series, premiering in June.
The Wanted has dominated headlines in the past year — largely thanks to the band’s feud with One Direction, and for its incredibly glamorous groupie, Lindsay Lohan — but now the boys will be telling their own story on a new reality show! Tentatively titled The Wanted Life, the E! series will show ”the unvarnished, non glossy, real life look behind the scenes” of the five crooners.
“We’re moving into Hollywood into a big house … for a certain period of time [and] doing a bit of filming,” Max George told Ryan Seacrest during the Feb. 6 installment of On Air with Ryan Seacrest. “[I] feel so sorry for [the neighbors]. Apologies now! … We’re doing a show for E! and all really excited about it.”
Sounds like the guys’ show is going to get crazy!
