Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul Trailer: The Heffleys Hit The Road
20th Century Fox has debuted the first teaser trailer and poster for Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul, which is set to hit theaters on May 19. This trailer pokes some fun at the superhero genre, in its own unique way, teasing that none of the caped crusaders, galactic guardians or amazing web slingers over the past decade dared to be "wimpy" like the title character Greg, portrayed by Jason Drucker. This trailer gives fans a better look at the brand new cast that has been assembled for this fourth Wimpy Kid movie.

Back in November, 20th Century Fox unveiled a preview that gave fans a behind-the-scenes sneak peek at the new cast members, who replace all of the stars from the first three Wimpy Kid movies. Jason Drucker replaces Zachary Gordon as Greg, with Charlie Wright replacing Devon Bostick as his older brother Rodrick and Owen Asztalos replacing Robert Capron as Rowley.

Sundance Film Review: ‘The Polka King’

Sundance Film Review: ‘The Polka King’
One of those conspicuously talented comics who nonetheless can be tricky to cast, Jack Black has rather surprisingly found some of his best big-screen roles portraying liberally dramatized versions of real people, à la “School of Rock” and “Bernie.” (No, “Drunk History” doesn’t count.) Featuring Black’s most eccentric true-life character yet, “The Polka King” amply plays to its star’s strengths, yielding a hilariously tough-to-believe biopic that should easily prove one of the bigger commercial breakouts of Sundance’s 2017 edition.

Co-directors Maya Forbes and Wallace Wolodarsky’s affectionately farcical comedy is based on a loopy 2009 documentary about Jan Lewan, a colorful Polish émigré turned “Polka King of Pennsylvania” turned convicted Ponzi-scheme felon. Perfectly cast down the line, this bizarre tale of the American Dream gone kitschily awry introduces Black’s Jan in 1990, when he’d be well on his way to realizing that dream, if only the finances would cooperate.

Trailer – Tarzan Returns to the Big Screen in 3D Motion Capture

  • HeyUGuys
It was over a year ago that we saw the first posters for the latest incarnation of Tarzan. This time we get to see a film both in 3D and shot completely using motion capture (the same effect that was achieved to create films like Avatar).

The latest iteration of Edgar Rice Burroughs’ classic story will be arriving on the big screen next summer, this time under the direction of Reinhard Klooss (Animals United). Kellan Lutz (Twilight, Immortals) leads the motion-capture cast, alongside Spencer Locke (Resident Evil: Afterlife) as Jane, and Jaime Ray Newman (A Town Called Eureka), Robert Capron (Diary of a Wimpy Kid), Mark Deklin (Gcb), and Trevor St. John (One Life to Live).

Klooss is directing from a script he co-wrote with Jessica Postigo (The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones) and Yoni Brenner (Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs).

One of the most classic and revered stories of all time,

Trailer for Kellan Lutz mo-capped Tarzan movie

Constantin Films has released the first trailer for their motion-captured/awkwardly animated film Tarzan. Currently playing in Germany and Russia, the English version will star Kellan Lutz (Twilight, Hercules: The Legend Begins), Spencer Locke (Resident Evil, Cougar Town), Robert Capron (Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Frankenweenie), Jamie Ray Newman (NCIS, Catch Me If You Can) and Brian Bloom (Tmnt, Saints Row IV). The film finds Tarzan and Jane fighting against an evil CEO who took over Tarzan's parents business after they died in a car crash.

The early concept art was bad enough and the latest trailer supports this idea. The animation is distracting and makes the human characters look strangely inhuman, and although we hear very little dialogue, what we have is hammy and terribly written. Check it out here...
